Sugar commonly comes from GMO sugar beets unless it indicates sugar cane.  Sugar is an addictive substance used to create the perfect combination of sugar, salt, and fat to increase cravings for processed foods.

Xanthan gum is an additive used as a thickener or stabilizer.  It is created when sugar is fermented by bacteria and creates a goo-like substance that is made solid by adding alcohol.  Does that sound like food to you?
